Marc Wishengrad is a filmmaker, director, and producer dedicated to telling humanitarian stories using the language of cinema.
While his passion lies in documentaries, he has spent the past 30 years shooting narratives, commercials, and corporate videos, earning numerous cinematography awards and an Emmy nomination.
Since founding Wishengrad Pictures in 2000, Marc has traveled internationally, using motion picture film to capture the world’s indescribable beauty.
His work documents both the wonders of nature and the rich healing traditions of indigenous cultures.
Beyond seeing him exonerated Marc saw something in Fernando that needed a larger story to be told of the hole it left in his life that no amount of money could compensate.
Taking the time to tell his story meant following him well beyond his walking out of prison and brought out an intimate look at what a wrongful incarceration has on the psyche of a man.
"A gripping story of justice
and survival."
